point in Papa Duck's life that he vowed to rise up out of his oppressed surroundings to become a better man. At the age of 15, he took money that his mother gave him to purchase school clothes and headed straight for the pawn shop to buy his first keyboard. From that moment on, his Mother and family gave their complete support in his efforts to become a pioneer for change in the Rap Music Industry.

In 1995, not only was Papa Duck writing his own raps but he was producing his own beats. Over the past eleven years, he has perfected his skills of writing, producing and engineering to create a unique style that offers something for everyone. For this young man who was headed for that Gangsta life, taking pride in sending the positive message that there is NO HONOR in gang banging, killing or serving 30 year jail sentences, is his primary mission.

In his CD, Life Is What It Is, Papa Duck speaks directly and honestly about life issues. He does not hold back the truth as he confronts and addresses problems in the black community. His second CD entitled, Muck City has gained mass popularity throughout the South East as Papa Duck drops the latest rhymes keeping his audiences wanting more. Welcome To My Hood was released in 2005 and features more tracks that tell the true story about Papa Duck's life. Within the last 6 months, to his credit, Papa Duck and his team have sold more than 50,000 copies of Welcome To My Hood in Florida. He has also produced more than nine albums in the last five years for various local artists using the MPC Drum Machine, Yamaha Motif, Roland Fantom keyboard and various sound modules.
